Losses give fans a chance to show their NHS story on show | soap

Casualty is giving fans the opportunity to feature their NHS story on the show to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Health Services next year.

The BBC Casualty Twitter account posted a video of Arin Smithhurst, who plays Sah on the show.

They explained: “Next year the NHS celebrates its 75th anniversary and Casualty wants to showcase true stories about A&E from the past 75 years to acknowledge this huge milestone.”

The big opportunity is to search for stories from patients, relatives or medical professionals, who should send up to 500 words to the email address mentioned in the video below.

Entries must be submitted by October 28.

At the moment we don’t have much information about this exciting development, but we are sure more details will follow in due course.

This is not the first time that “victims” have reached out to the audience and given them the opportunity to be a part of the show.

In April, it was announced to join The team will be Samantha Bacchus, a frontline medical worker for over 15 years. In addition to Samantha, writing duo Laura Griffiths and Chris Griffiths also joined the team. Laura has worked in the NHS for over 33 years and is currently an area nurse.

Real-life touching is common for injuries. Last year, the medical drama aired a special episode based on the coronavirus that centered around the ED team dealing with the first wave of the pandemic.

Witnessed skillful storytelling and powerful scenes show BAFTA winning for the episode.
